AI Earring Try-On

Upload one clear jewelry photo, pick a model and get worn images. Check the shape, size, stones and the ear before you publish; this is a visual preview, not a size check.

What it is

What Is an AI Earring Try-On?

An AI earring try-on uses an image model to put the earrings from a product photo onto a model, creating a worn image that looks like a real photo.

How it works

You upload one clear photo of the earrings and pick a preset model or upload a portrait.

The model sets studs through the lobe, runs hoops through the piercing and lets drops hang straight under gravity, scales the piece to the ear, adds contact shadows and reflections on metal, pearls and stones, and keeps the shape, size ratio, metal color and finish, stones and pearls, chain links, hooks and posts as close to your photo as it can.

The same page handles ear cuffs and necklaces: switch Jewelry type to Ear cuff or Necklace.

Credits and how it runs

On ProductShot AI, each image uses 10 credits, and you can generate 1 to 4 images at a time. New accounts get one free generation. Each run takes one jewelry photo, and you sign in to generate.

Results are saved to your history, so you can come back later to download them or try the same pair on another model. The credit cost is shown under the Generate button before you start.

When it helps most, and photo rules

It works best when you have many designs and few worn photos. Jewelry stores often carry hundreds of earrings, and a model shoot for every pair is out of reach, so most listings only show a packshot and shoppers cannot judge size or drop.

With the AI earring try-on you can give every design a worn image and show it on different ages, skin tones and hairstyles. When you upload a portrait, use only your own photo or one you have permission to use, never a public figure.

Side or three-quarter portraits with the ear and lobe visible, hair tucked back and no other earrings work best.

How to check a result

Before a result goes live, check four things in order. First the piece itself: shape, size ratio, count, metal and stone color.

Then the way it is worn: studs on the lobe, hoops through the piercing, drops hanging straight, a necklace resting on the collarbone. Then the ear and hair: a natural ear shape, no strands cutting through the piece.

Finally the whole image: even light and no extra earrings. If anything is off, keep the jewelry photo loaded, pick another model or add a short note such as “keep the pearl size and gold hook”, and generate again.

Macro stone shots, hallmarks, the back of a post and real sparkle are still best shown in real photos, and metal purity, allergy information and weight belong in text.

Why ProductShot AI

Built for Jewelry Listings, Not Sticker Edits

Every setting is designed around one question: can this worn earring image go straight into your store?

Structure lock

The prompt keeps shape, stones, pearls, link count, hooks and posts, with no enlarging and nothing added.

Metal kept

Yellow, rose and silver tones and polished or matte finishes are asked to stay.

Gravity respected

Drops and pendants are asked to hang naturally, not float or stick to the cheek.

Photos used for your run

Uploaded portraits are used to generate your result; upload only photos you may use.

Common notes in one click

Pick notes for size, metal, hair or framing, or optimize your own text.

Honest about limits

A visual preview, not a size, weight or comfort check; the result area reminds you to check.

Use Cases

Five Kinds of Sellers Who Need Earrings on a Model

Each starts from one clear jewelry photo and ends with the same piece worn on an ear or neckline, ready to check.

Unbranded pearl and gold studs on a small ceramic dish

Studs and Small Everyday Earrings

A tiny stud on white tells shoppers nothing about size. On a lobe, it does. Use Close-up, then zoom in to check the stone size, prong count and post, and that the stud was not enlarged.

Unbranded gold hoops in three sizes on beige linen

Hoops and Huggies

Hoop diameter is the first question buyers ask. A worn image answers it visually; list the real diameter too. Check that the hoop thickness and polish match your photo and that it passes through the lobe.

Unbranded long beaded drop earrings hanging on a display stand

Drops and Statement Earrings

Long drops need to hang straight under gravity. Pick a model with the neck visible, use Keep original framing for very long pieces, and check that every link, bead and stone is still there.

Unbranded pearl necklace and matching earrings in an open box

Bridal Sets and Necklaces

Switch Jewelry type to Necklace to show a pendant on the collarbone, then run the matching earrings on the same model so the set looks consistent across the gallery.

Unbranded black and silver men’s stud earrings on slate

Men’s Earrings and Ear Cuffs

Use the three men’s presets for small hoops and studs, and the Ear cuff type for climbers and cuffs that sit on the rim rather than the lobe.

Where Worn Earring Images Get Used

A worn image shows size and drop at a glance. These are the places sellers use them most.

How it works

Create an AI Earring Try-On Image in 4 Steps

Upload the jewelry, pick a model, generate and check. Everything happens on this page.

Photographing unbranded pearl earrings on a small stand in a white light tent
Laptop showing a grid of nine side portraits next to unbranded earrings
Prints of an earring packshot and three worn versions laid side by side with a loupe
Tablet showing a jewelry product page with a worn earring image next to an earring box
01

Upload the Jewelry

Upload one clear photo of the earrings, ear cuff or necklace, JPG, PNG or WEBP up to 16MB. A normal photo on a plain background works; no transparent PNG is needed. Or start from one of the three examples.

02

Pick a Model and Type

Choose one of nine preset models, or upload a portrait you have permission to use. Pick Earrings, Ear cuff or Necklace, then Close-up or Keep original framing.

03

Generate and Compare

Generate 1 to 4 versions at 10 credits each. The result area shows the jewelry photo next to every version.

04

Check, Then Download

Check shape, size, count, metal and stone color, the hook or post, and the ear and hair. Swap the model or regenerate without re-uploading, then download.

Tips

Three Ways to Get More Accurate Worn Images

The jewelry photo and the portrait decide most of the result.

Prepare the photos

  • Shoot the earrings in sharp focus, with the whole piece, hook or post and drop in frame.
  • Use a plain background and soft light so glare does not wash out stones or metal.
  • Pick a side or three-quarter portrait with the lobe visible and no other earrings.
  • Upload the original export, not a screenshot or re-compressed copy.

Write notes

Details to keep + the shot you want

Notes are optional. For unusual pieces, cover these two points:

  • Keep the pearl size and the gold hook.
  • Place the three studs up the ear in the same order.
  • Close-up of the ear, hair tucked back.

Avoid these mistakes

  • Do not present the image as a size promise; list diameter, length and weight.
  • Do not skip checking shape, count, metal color, the hook and the ear.
  • Do not upload photos of other people or public figures, or pieces with other brands’ marks.
  • One design per run; generate each pair separately.

No. It is a visual preview made by an image model, not a size, weight or comfort check. List diameter, length and weight on your product page.

The prompt asks to keep shape, size ratio, metal, stones, pearls, link count, hooks and posts, with nothing added. The whole image is regenerated, though, so a stone or link can change. Compare every version with your photo.

A sharp photo with the whole piece visible, including the hook or post, on a plain background with soft light. A normal photo works; JPG, JPEG, PNG or WEBP up to 16MB.

Yes. Switch to Upload a model and use a side or three-quarter portrait with the ear visible. Use only your own photo or one you have permission to use, never a public figure.

Nine fictional people, six women and three men of different ages and skin tones, with no earrings, so only your piece appears in the result.

Yes. Switch Jewelry type to Necklace / pendant or Ear cuff / climber. Necklaces are worn on the collarbone; cuffs sit on the rim of the ear.

Upload the pair in one photo. The model wears what fits the visible ear, usually one in a side view. Ask in the notes if you want something specific, and check the result.

The prompt asks to replace them, but results are less stable. Check for leftovers, or pick a photo without earrings.

Shape, size, count, metal and stone color, the hook or post, how it is worn, and the ear and hair. If something is off, keep the jewelry photo, change the model or notes, and generate again.
